Migrating with the Sandhill Cranes

Join Erv Nichols and Sandra Noll on their six-month journey following Sandhill Crane migration including wintering grounds in New Mexico,  a mass staging area along Nebraska’s Plate River and breeding grounds in Alaska including encounters with other interesting wildlife along the way. Facts and photographs are woven into an entertaining tapestry of their journey and relationship with this remarkable bird.

 

Bio:

Erv Nichols and Sandra Noll travel extensively as lecturers and guides sharing their skills as naturalists, photographers and interpretive guides in a wide variety of Fish and Wildlife Refuges, National Parks, Forest Service Heritage Sites, Audubon Centers and other NGO’s. Whether from a viewing deck, lecture hall or leading bird walks, their passion connects people with our nation’s special landscapes and wildlife.
