ALL TOURS ARE SOLD OUT

We are thrilled with the response and interest in the 2024 Monte Vista Crane Festival! However, this means that all of our regular and special tours are now SOLD OUT. We have plenty of tickets available for speaker sessions and we recommend downloading the "Crane Viewing Guide" and enjoying your very own crane tour of the wildlife refuge, or arriving early to your preferred regular tour time and waiting in a standby line.

Please do not try to register for any tours as you will not be able to. The special tours have long waiting lists, so at this point we are not taking any additional names for these lists. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope you will consider joining us next year!

Embracing Technology for Environmental Stewardship

We're thrilled to announce our new ticketing platform for this year's festival—Whova. In our continuous effort to promote environmental stewardship, Whova aligns perfectly with our values, helping us eliminate the need for paper tickets, thereby saving trees and reducing waste.

After you purchase your tickets online, we recommend downloading  the Whova application for use during the festival. The application will have the agenda for all the tickets you purchased with maps for the event locations as well as up-to-date notifications of any event updates, an opportunity to network with other participants, photo sharing, and birding/viewing opportunities and highlights.

PLEASE NOTE: You cannot purchase tickets on the Whova app. Tickets can only be purchased on our website by clicking the "I'm Ready to Register" button below. 

Streamlined Registration and Ticketing with Whova

• No More Paper! With Whova, you won't need to print or download tickets. Everything is digital and easily accessible.
• Your Phone is Your Ticket: Store your tickets in your Apple or Google wallet on your smartphone. It's convenient and eco-friendly! If you are not comfortable using the Whova Application on your phone, take a screenshot or print your confirmation email and bring it with you.
• Check-In Made Easy: Use the Whova app at check-in for a seamless experience.

Here’s what you need to gather before you register:

1. Email address(s) for you and anyone else you are buying tickets for. If you don’t have email address for all participants, you can use a placeholder email in the format firstname@lastname.com (e.g., jane@smith.com) for the second registrant.
2. A list of events you would like to attend. Take a look at the agenda and make note of events you wish to attend. Be aware—some events overlap so plan your time accordingly.
3. Your payment methods: We use Stripe for payment processing and accept all major credit cards.
